The short answer
Pick FoodDocs if you want one system for daily food safety across your sites, covering the whole operation, not only one process. It is a broad product and does far more than we do.
Pick ClearHACCP if what you need is the HACCP plan your health department asks for before you start sous vide, vacuum packing, sushi rice, curing or smoking, and the logs that go with it, paid once.
Prices, side by side
| Option | Price | HACCP plan builder |
|---|---|---|
| FoodDocs Lite (logs, no HACCP builder) | $99/mo or $948/yr | No |
| FoodDocs Standard (includes its HACCP plan builder) | $199/mo or $1,999/yr | Yes |
| ClearHACCP Process Plan | $249 once | Yes, one process, with 12 months of logs and revisions |
| ClearHACCP Kitchen Pack | $449 once | Yes, every supported process at one location |
FoodDocs lists a 14-day trial with no card on its pricing page. ClearHACCP has no trial: you read your plan's cover, contents and first sections before you pay, and the rest opens when you buy. Over two years, one ClearHACCP process with another year of logs comes to $378 ($249 plus $129).
These are list prices for different scopes of product, so they are not like for like. FoodDocs' price covers far more than a single plan.
