The promise

Fix it or refund it.

We cannot promise approval. Only your health department approves a plan. So we promise work and money.

Revisions, free for 12 months

Send us your health department's written comments: an email, a letter, or a photo of the marked-up plan. We revise within 2 business days at no charge, any number of rounds. The timer pauses while we wait on you.

Refund, within 120 days

If, within 120 days of purchase, your regulatory authority declines the plan in writing after we made every change it asked for, we refund 100% of that purchase. That includes a jurisdiction that does not allow the process at all.

Not covered

You did not submit the plan, you declined to make a requested change, or the change asked for is to your kitchen (equipment, layout, a lab test) rather than to the document. In those cases we still revise the document free.

In the app: "My inspector asked for changes" starts a revision. "My plan was declined" starts a refund request. Full terms in our terms of service.

Founding reviewers

Get 50% of your first purchase back for an honest review.

A video of 60 seconds or more, or a written review of 150 words or more. Any rating qualifies: positive, negative or mixed. We never ask for a good review, never pay more for a better one, and publish negative reviews on the same rules as positive ones.

  • Up to $125 per business, one cashback per business, within 60 days of the purchase.
  • Runs from launch until 50 published reviews or 90 days, whichever comes first.
  • Every published incentivized review says so, right next to it.

This follows the FTC rule on consumer reviews and testimonials (16 CFR Part 465) and the FTC Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255). How reviews work.

What restaurants pay today

Public prices only, each with the date we checked it. Prices change; follow the links for the current figure.

  • FoodDocs Standard (includes its HACCP plan builder): $199 per site per month, or $1,999 a year billed yearly. FoodDocs Lite (logs, no HACCP builder): $99 a month, or $948 a year. Checked 2026-10-08 (FoodDocs pricing). FoodDocs runs a whole food safety system; we only build special-process plans. A fair comparison.
  • Hennepin County, MN: HACCP plan review: $417 initial review plus $209 annual audit, paid to the county. Checked 2026-10-08 (county application).
  • ClearHACCP Process Plan: $249 once, with 12 months of logs and revisions.

Pricing questions

Is there a subscription?
No, unless you choose one. The Process Plan and the Kitchen Pack are one-time payments that cover 12 months. Nothing renews. After 12 months you can keep logging for $129 for another year (no renewal), or $15 a month if you prefer to pay as you go and cancel in one click.
What happens after the 12 months if I do not pay again?
Your plan files stay yours, and every log you entered stays readable and exportable, free, for as long as your account exists. Only new log entries, edits and inspector revisions need keep logs, another year or the monthly option. Keep your records for as long as your health department asks: at least 6 months for sous vide and cook-chill (3-502.12(D)(3)(b)).
Can I see the plan before I pay?
The first part, yes. Answer the questions and you see the cover letter, the contents with the page count of every section, and sections (A) and (B) in full. The other sections, including the hazard analysis and the critical limits, show as locked cards with their page counts and open when you buy. No card to start.
What counts as one process?
Sous vide, cook-chill, vacuum packing, vacuum packing frozen fish, vacuum packing cheese, acidified sushi rice, curing, and smoking to preserve are each one process. One process covers any number of menu items made that way at one location: a short rib, a pork belly and a chicken thigh all cooked sous vide are one Process Plan.
We have two restaurants. What do we pay?
Buy the plan for the first location, then $149 for each extra location of the same business. Each location gets its own address, permit number and logs for 12 months.
Do you charge for inspector revisions?
No. For 12 months after purchase, every revision your health department asks for in writing is free, done within 2 business days, as many rounds as it takes. See the promise above for the refund terms.
Is the health department fee included?
No. Some counties charge their own fee to review a HACCP plan or a variance, paid to them, not to us. For example, Hennepin County, MN lists $417 for an initial HACCP review plus $209 for the annual audit (checked 2026-10-08). Ask your health department what it charges.
How do I pay?
By card through Whop, our checkout partner. Whop holds your payment details; we never see or store them. You get a receipt by email.
